Wiring and Existing Chime Compatibility

Information about wiring requirements and existing chime compatibility

The doorbell camera requires wiring but you don't need to disable the existing chime. However, the doorbell camera is incompatible with existing wired chimes.

Installation Steps

  1. Turn off power to the existing doorbell
  2. Remove the old doorbell
  3. Connect wires to the new doorbell camera
  4. Restore power
  5. Complete app setup
