How Gazing collects, uses, discloses, transfers, and processes your personal information

WEBFRONT INNOVATIONS LIMITED and its affiliates (collectively "Gazing," "we," "us," or "our") are committed to privacy and data protection standards that keep personal information private and in user control.

This Privacy Policy describes how Gazing collects, uses, discloses, transfers, and processes Personal Information. It outlines user rights regarding Personal Information and how to contact the company with questions.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy covers Personal Information related to Gazing's products and services, including:

  • 1.3 Services including technical support and Web Apps

Personal Information means any information identifying you, such as name, email address or billing information, or data reasonably used to infer this information.

2.1.1 Registration

During account creation or product registration, Gazing may request: first and last name, country, email address, product serial number, purchase date, phone number, mailing address, and proof of purchase. Additional information like interests, gender, or age may be collected.

2.1.2 Voluntary Information

Users may share Personal Information on websites, Web Apps, Mobile Apps, message boards, social media, or through camera access invitation links.

2.1.3 Videos

Gazing collects, processes, and stores videos captured by users' systems based on subscription plans, configurations, and settings. This includes capturing video portions for notifications and analyzing data for motion detection.

2.1.4 Customer Support

Information from communications with customer care teams is collected.

2.1.5 Payment Details

Credit card and billing information, including payment transactions, are collected for orders, subscriptions, warranty replacements, and Subscription Services.

2.2 Personal Information from Product and Service Interactions

2.2.1 Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Gazing uses cookies, web beacons, and tracking technologies to collect IP addresses, geolocation, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, device information, and browsing data. Third parties may also collect information using cookies. The company does not currently respond to "do not track" signals.

Information collected includes Internet speed, voltage, storage, error rates, and performance statistics.

2.3 Personal Information from Other Sources

2.3.1 Facebook

If users access Services via Facebook login, Gazing may receive name, email address, and gender, depending on Facebook privacy settings.

Gazing may share Personal Information:

  1. Within Gazing Family: With headquarters and affiliates worldwide.
  2. With Service Providers: Service providers perform services based on instructions with appropriate confidentiality and security measures. Examples include order processing, credit card transactions, marketing communications, sales support, and customer support.
  3. With Invited Friends: Users can share Gazing camera access through invitation links to friends.
  4. Business Transfers: In mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, asset sales, spin-offs, or insolvency/bankruptcy events, we may sell, transfer or otherwise share some or all of our assets, including Personal Information. The company directs transferees to use information consistently with this Policy.

5. Your Rights and Choices

Marketing Communications

Users can opt out of marketing and promotional emails by following instructions in emails from Gazing. Transactional messages, order updates, technical information, and notifications continue regardless of opt-out status.

Account Management

Users can choose not to install applications or complete warranty cards, though this may limit warranty service or Service access. Through account settings, users can update Personal Information or delete accounts, though account deletion may limit Service usage.

California Residents' Rights

California residents (excluding job applicants, employees, or those interacting in job roles) have rights to ask what information is collected and used, what information is disclosed or sold, and request deletion of collected information. We will verify your request by matching information you provide us with information we have about you. No discrimination occurs for exercising California Consumer Privacy Act rights. Third-party representatives may request on behalf of users with notarized power of attorney.

Sales of Information

California law requires disclosure of information "sales." Gazing states we do not do this based on our understanding of that term. Nevada residents: Gazing does not exchange personal information for money with third parties for licensing or resale, and does not sell minors' information under 16. 6. Data Transfers

6.1 Gazing Member Firms

Personal information transfers to other Gazing Member Firms and their subsidiaries/affiliates, which process information for the same purposes outlined herein.

6.2 Third Party Service Providers

Information may transfer to non-member third party service providers including IT services providers, identity management, hosting, data analysis, back-up, archiving, security, storage (cloud services), and event management providers.

6.3 International Transfers

Personal information may transfer to and be stored outside the user's country or region, with Gazing Member Firms and service providers using servers in various countries.

6.4 Business Succession

Gazing Member Firms reserve the right to transfer all data to a successor-in-interest to its business or assets.

7. Individuals Located in the EEA or Switzerland

For EEA and Switzerland residents, Gazing processes Personal Information based on:

  1. Consent: Users consent to cookies or marketing communications.
  2. Contract Necessity: Personal Information is necessary to provide requested Products, Services, or respond to inquiries.
  3. Legal Obligation: Required by applicable laws or governmental requests.
  4. Legitimate Interest: Gazing or third parties have legitimate interests including:

Gazing Products and Services are intended for adults. The company does not knowingly allow children under 16 to create accounts. If users believe Personal Information from someone under 16 was collected, they should contact Gazing using Contact Us methods for investigation.

9. How We Protect Your Personal Information

Gazing maintains administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect Personal Information against accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss, unauthorized alteration, unauthorized disclosure or access, misuse, and any other unlawful form of processing.

The Internet is not completely secure. The company cannot guarantee complete safety and encourages caution, including not sharing passwords.

Public Forum Warnings

Information provided in discussion forums, communities, social media, or discussion boards becomes broadly available and could be used for unsolicited contact or uncontrolled purposes. Individual forums may have additional rules. Gazing is not responsible for information users submit in these spaces and may be unable to remove it.

Gazing deletes Personal Information or maintains it in non-identifying form when no longer necessary for processing purposes or upon user request, unless legally required to retain it longer. The company conducts periodic database reviews with established time limits for deletion based on service type, relationship length, retention requirements, and statute of limitations.

Services may contain features or links to third-party websites and services. Third-party sites operate under their own policies. Gazing does not control these sites and is not responsible for their privacy practices or security. Users should read third-party privacy policies carefully.
